The purpose of the METRO Act (Metropolitan Extension Telecommunications Rights-of-Way Oversight Act) is to regulate usage of public rights-of-way as it pertains to telecommunications infrastructure and companies (such as Marshall FiberNet, WOW!, AT&T, Comcast etc.). Because of the restrictions placed on the city, we are not allowed at this time to provide services outside of the city limits. We are working on expanding our reach to the townships down the road, but this is quite a lengthy and involved process. For now we are focusing on the delivery of a state-of-the-art network within the confines of the city limits.
