Marshall FiberNet Improvements

In regards to the service disruptions in October and November, we have implemented a few new strategies to prevent further disruptions going forward.

This includes the implementation of a blackhole server, in an effort to reduce the outage response times if there is a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack.

By obtaining a new block of IPv4 addresses that is now owned by Marshall FiberNet, automatic failover has been implemented between our two upstream circuits in case one of our upstream providers go down.

We will also soon be applying this new block of IPv4 addresses to customers so that the traffic will choose the best path between our two upstream circuits, instead of being statically routed out one or the other.

Ensured current updates are applied to operating system and firmware on core and distribution routers and switches.

We sincerely thank you for your patience as we continue to improve Marshall FiberNet. We appreciate all of your support and feedback.
